Catering can be a challenge-- Inevitably, you find yourself left with enough food to serve 100 guests after serving a party for 50 people. Of course it's always better to overestimate and make sure your guests are well fed, rather than undershoot, but we also want to make sure those leftovers are minimized and don't go to waste!
As a rule of thumb, we guestimate 1.5 servings of food for every 1 person is a good call. And estimate that each guest will consume 2-3 gallons of beverages.
